Welcome to Trekbaaz! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By booking a trek with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

1. Booking and Registration

1.1 Booking Process

• All bookings must be made through our official website or WhatsApp booking service
• A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or advance payment as specified
• Participants must provide accurate personal information during registration
• Age restrictions apply to certain treks - minimum age requirements will be specified for each trek

1.2 Payment Terms

• Advance payment: 30% of total trek cost required to confirm booking
• Full payment must be completed 7 days before trek departure
• Payment methods accepted: UPI, Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit Cards
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of GST

2. Participant Responsibilities

2.1 Health and Fitness

• Participants must be medically fit for high-altitude trekking
• Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at time of booking
• Trekbaaz reserves the right to refuse participation if health concerns arise
• Participants trek at their own risk and responsibility

2.2 Conduct and Behavior

• Participants must follow instructions from trek leaders and guides
• Alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited during treks
• Littering and damage to environment will result in penalties
• Disruptive behavior may lead to removal from trek without refund

3. What's Included

Unless otherwise specified, trek packages include:

• Accommodation (tents/homestays as per itinerary)
• Vegetarian meals during trek (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
• Experienced trek leader and support staff
• First aid medical kit and oxygen cylinder
• All necessary permits and entry fees
• Trek equipment (tents, sleeping bags, etc.)

4. What's Not Included

• Transportation to and from base camp (unless specified)
• Personal trekking gear (backpack, shoes, clothing)
• Personal insurance
• Any meals during transit days
• Personal expenses and tips
• Any costs arising from natural calamities or circumstances beyond our control

5. Cancellation and Changes

5.1 By Participant

Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for detailed information on cancellation charges and refund terms.

5.2 By Trekbaaz

• Trekbaaz reserves the right to cancel or postpone treks due to unforeseen circumstances
• In case of cancellation by Trekbaaz, full refund will be provided
• Alternative dates or treks may be offered at participant's discretion
• Force majeure events (natural disasters, political unrest, pandemic) exempt Trekbaaz from liability

6. Safety and Risk

6.1 Assumption of Risk

Trekking and adventure activities involve inherent risks including:

• Altitude sickness and weather-related health issues
• Physical injury from terrain and environmental conditions
• Wildlife encounters
• Equipment failure despite proper maintenance

By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree to hold Trekbaaz harmless.

6.2 Insurance

• We strongly recommend participants obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance
• Insurance should cover high-altitude trekking, medical evacuation, and trip cancellation
• Trekbaaz is not liable for medical expenses incurred during the trek

7. Liability Limitations

• Trekbaaz acts only as an agent arranging accommodations, transportation, and services
• We are not liable for delays, accidents, injuries, loss, or damage to property
• Maximum liability is limited to the trek package cost paid by participant
• Trekbaaz is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings
• Emergency evacuation costs, if required, are borne by the participant

8. Intellectual Property

• All content on Trekbaaz website is protected by copyright
• Photos and videos taken during treks may be used for promotional purposes
• Participants who wish to opt-out of promotional material must inform us in writing

9. Modifications to Terms

Trekbaaz reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
